After self-cathing for over 10 years I have figured out that the consumer catheter market is a huge monetary scam. Until I switched to Cure Catheters last year(and paying for them out of my own pocket) I used Mentor Colorplast catheters. After some research and price checking I can buy Cure Catheters directly, without insurance company involvement for FAR less than my insurance co-pay for Mentor Coloplast. Other than the somewhat helpful Guide Stripe on the Mentor Coloplast, the Cure Catheter works just fine. I pay a little bit more for the Coude tip but that is a worthwhile expense. Until I turn 65 and qualify for Medicare (if it still exists by then) the Cure catheter will be my choice. -
Switched to these and haven't looked back

I have used a wide variety of catheters over the past few years (Bard, Coloplast, Magic, etc...) Magic gave me recurring UTIs, Coloplast was uncomfortable, but Bard was my favorite. Due to our fantastic health care / insurance in this country I could no longer get the Bard catheters and had been stuck with Coloplast until I found out the price, over $100 for a 30 day supply! I took a chance and went with the Cure catheters provided by Vitality Medical and they are (in my opinion) equal the the comfort and performance of the Bard catheters. Thank you Vitality Medical!
