    Steri-Strips are Awesome (depending on the wound)

    We use Steri-Strips often and in general think they're terrific. They're best used for narrow cuts. My blind husband walks into walls and splits his forehead open every couple of months. I clean him up with hydrogen peroxide and apply however many 1/4" Steri-Strips are appropriate. They stay on for many days even though he washes his hair every day. I tend to get cuts on my fingers from the dry weather. Although I'd love to use Steri-Strips on them, the Steri-Strips peel off within a day or less because I wash my hands quite often.     I had a minor surgery three weeks ago to release my trigger. It required around 3/4 of an inch incision on my palm. The doctor closed the incision with 2 stitches and were removed after two weeks. However, the day after the stitches were removed, the incision separated resulting to a gap. Instead of going back to the doctor, my niece (who's also a physician) recommended Steri-Strip Skin Closure to close the incision without the need for re-stitching. After a week of using it, I saw that the incision is now closed. However, I decided to use the strip for another week to make sure that it won't
