I am using it for a pool backwash line and needed to put the water about 200 feet away. I purchased two pipe rolls. I was very impressed with the thickness of the pipe and this was a very cost effective way of doing it. If I purchased regular pipe capable of handling high water system pressures t would have cost and arm and a leg. This was affordable and can also support pressures of 100 psi which I will never reach with this application. Previously I was buying and rebuying that 1.5 inch roll up pipe that they sell at pool stores. it is expensive and gets holes in it easily. These are hard to

    Extremely Disappointed

Posted by Jim in Home Depot on Oct 23rd 2018

I recently purchased a 100 foot roll of this one inch poly pipe to run an extra zone on our sprinkler system. The beginning went well. After installing two heads we found a slit 55 feet in from the beginning of the roll. That I fixed with a one inch barbed conecter and two pipe clamps. Towards the end of the run we realized that the hundred foot roll was missing 11 feet of poly pipe. So we paid for 100 foot of one inch pipe but only received 89 feet. Plus of course the slit that was about two inches long at the 55 foot mark. All in all a dissapointing purchase from home depot.
