    Tilt a Rack improvements on going

    The spring release for the tilt was much two strong and the keeper pins for it was a farce. I reduced the spring tension added two flat washers on both sides of spring and a good keeper pin. The pins holding the pull out ramp and none user friendly. The chains broke within the first week of use and to align the pin with the bar in back and thru the pull out ramp is a nightmare. I ran a drill true them and it helped a bit but now the pins are coming out while traveling and they still hard to put in,. Going to put pins in top down and make it more user friendly.     I really like the quality of the tilt-a-rack, but I am severely handicapped and the weight of the rack makes it unsuitable for me. I own a 2018 Ford Explorer that has a hatchback that is unusable if the rack is in store mode. Because of the weight I can not lower it to be able to put my electric wheelchair on it. If it is in the horizontal position it is too wide to reach across to put groceries or baggage into the back of the car.
