    The original '90s scent is back

    Ok, this will be a little lengthy but stay with me and hear me out. I've been using Tide laundry products for over 40 years and I was around when liquids came on the market and I used them so I know what the fragrance was like back then. When I first started using the liquid Tide in the early 90s it had a unique but simple fragrance which smelled just like a strong soap. Then as the years progressed, people complained that they didn't like their clothes smelling like "laundry soap" so the era of "fruity, floral, disgraceful scents" was born and every detergent manufacturer followed that trend

    Overwhelming

    When I first opened the bottle, the scent was overwhelming and was not pleasant. My clothes smelt very strong of the detergent but the cleaning power is actually okay. I like the way my clothes were cleaned but it could be better. When it comes to odors in my clothes, it doesn't seem to get rid of them completly I feel like it was just covering the odors with the scent. The only good thing that came from using this detergent was the fact that when you leave your clothes in the closet for a few days the scent starts to reduce and you get a really light fresh smell that I actually enjoy.
