Just for looks, I guess?

They feel nice, but are actually completely useless. I got them on sale for $6 and some change when they're originally $20 but honestly they're not even worth the $6 I paid. I have better scissors from Dollar Tree, but wanted to invest in some actual sewing shears for myself for Christmas. Only the last inch of the scissors actually cut anything, everything closer than that just gets stuck. I got so frustrated trying to cut just a simple square of fabric that I just gave up and switched back to my old reliable pair from DT. Obviously can't return them now, so off to Goodwill they go, hopefully

I have gone through kitchen scissors like butter, almost. It's so frustrating to buy the cheap ones, watch them rust through (just with normal washing/drying), then buy the expensive ones, and watch them rust through a tiny bit more slowly. I had a pair that came apart for washing that lasted a while, but I was somehow always managing to drop one part while trying to use them (because I'm lame, apparently).
