Great product for making face shields

Posted by walmart on Dec 23rd 2021

I bought this Grafix Dura-Lar Pad, .005mm, Clear 9x12 in for making face shields. It works great. I had previously tried running empty laminating sheets through the laminator, but had trouble with bubbles in it. Dura-Lar is a bit more expensive, but a lot less hassle and results in a clearer better quality face shield.

    Crystal clear and very durable

Posted by AEtherScythe in jerrysartarama on Dec 23rd 2021

I purchased this and the 12x9" sheets for making face shields for medical workers. This polyester film was the most clear and most durable of the three materials that I cut on my Circuit Maker. The same brand makes an acetate film, which is good, doesn't hold its shape quite as well as this polyester film. They also make a PVC film, which is not good for the face shields -- it is too "murky" not clear enough for medical practitioners to see through clearly.
