    Does the job! Love the larger target.

    I've come to appreciate how critical normalizing white balance is. This larger gray panel is handy, in that I can set up multiple cameras for a shoot, and the zoom in on the target from the set locations, to quickly set custom WB. Before, I was using a much smaller version, which accomplished the same WB accuracy, but required I dismount each camera from its location, walk them to the stage (I shoot theater & orchestra), WB there, then remount and rebalance each camera. This was taking too much from the pre-event schedule for the house tech team. So, this 30 panel speeds this dramatically. It

    Best gray target I have

    I recently found myself testing various umbrellas. Sort of spur of the moment. In any case, they all were about 7000-8000 degrees with an Elinchrom flash in color mode. Uh, really? I was using a Neewer white reflector as a target, so I switched to an Omega. Same result, maybe 500 degrees warmer at about 6500. Both of those had a red-green color shift that was disturbing. Then, I trotted out the QuikBalance. Straight on flash was 5750 with almost no red-green shift. Then, I tried a Color Checker Passport: color was about 5600, also with almost no red-green color shift. Oh, and the umbrellas? Th
