    We have had our new can a few weeks now. I'll start with the positive. We generally like the design of the can and the motion control is reliable. We love the voice control feature WHEN it is working. Having said that, the voice control is very temperamental. It will work for many hours and then without explanation, and without having touched the can, it just decides to stop working. Whenever I have to lift the rim to take out the recycle bin or change the trash liner, I have a 50/50 chance of the voice control working after I put the rim back down.     I could not be happier with the new can (definitely 5 stars minus one for problems with receipt of can). Having one can to put both trash and recyclables in is a space saver. The voice activated lid is amazing, can't tell you how many times I have had one hand full of wet vegetable peels and the other underneath to catch drippings. Voice activation means I don't have to wave the sloppy mess in front of the motion sensor. That said, the motion sensor is great and I use that a ton. The custom liner dispenser is also a great convenience. My only issue with the purchase was that the initial can re
