Medtronic Polysorb UL202 is a braided synthetic absorbable suture composed of Lactomer glycolide/lactide copolymer. Coated with a blend of caprolactone/glycolide copolymer and calcium stearoyl lactylate, it offers excellent holding strength, exceptional knot security, and a predictable absorption profile during the critical wound healing phase. It features a size 5-0 violet dyed braided multifilament, a 30-inch (75 cm) length, and comes equipped with a 17 mm CV-23 taper point needle with a 1/2 circle curvature, packaged in a box of 36.
